When hurricane Ida hit in 2021, it washed out the river bank in several places around Stroudsburg. We were called in for emergency repairs to relocate some underground utilities and to rebuild the riverbank.




This was a challenging project. We had to excavate the foundation for the new science building in the middle of the city of Bethlehem, PA. One third of the building is below ground level so we had to excavate more than 30 feet down!!! Our excavators were the first on site and our paving crew put the finishing touches on it.
Lake Swiftwater is a small lake attached to a private community. The lake was controlled by an earthen dam with just a small spillway. We had to drain the lake, build a “diversion” wall, excavate the area for the new concrete dam, then backfill around the new dam.
