Smithfield Gateway Development: Phase 1 Stormwater

Smithfield Gateway is a massive development in Marshalls Creek, PA. It will eventually include medical offices, retail shopping and townhouses. The first phase of the project included installing a 72 inch stormwater pipe. This pipe run is 300 yards long and is sometimes more than 40 feet deep and it required us to use a special drill to bore under the highway.

Sheetz, Swiftwater PA

Northeast site was instrumental in bringing the first Sheetz gas station to Monroe County in eastern PA. We were involved with this project from the planning stage to putting in the finishing touches.

Lehigh University Science Building

This was a challenging project. We had to excavate the foundation for the new science building in the middle of the city of Bethlehem, PA. One third of the building is below ground level so we had to excavate more than 30 feet down!!! Our excavators were the first on site and our paving crew put the finishing touches on it.

Dam at Lake Swiftwater

Lake Swiftwater is a small lake attached to a private community. The lake was controlled by an earthen dam with just a small spillway. We had to drain the lake, build a “diversion” wall, excavate the area for the new concrete dam, then backfill around the new dam.
